Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) | Co-founder

BA, MFA, MACP

Patrick helps his clients find more ease, peace and meaning in their lives.

Patrick is a licensed Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario. With a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology (MACP), he is dedicated to helping individuals explore, untangle and process their issues, and develop tools to move forward in more emotionally healthy ways.

His areas of expertise include: self-esteem, anxiety, stress, emotional regulation, relationship issues, trauma and pornography addiction. His counselling style is engaged and supportive. Though he most often uses evidence-based practices associated with cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), narrative therapy, solution focused brief therapy (SFBT) and existential therapy, Patrick’s approach is eclectic and fluid, always driven by the needs and goals of the client.

Patrick also has a Master’s of Fine Arts (MFA) from NYU Film School. Before becoming a therapist, he had a successful career as a writer, director and journalist. This gives him a unique foundation for understanding the narratives people create about themselves and how their identities can become entangled in undermining lies and half-truths. Patrick has first-hand insight into the challenges of the creative journey.
